Environments and base URLs
The hosts this site was built against, and why the discovery document still outranks them.
The hosts
This site was built for the staging environment. The samples use $UNIFYID_API for the API host; here it is:
APIhttps://api.staging.unifyid.io—$UNIFYID_APIin every sample.Person portalhttps://id.staging.unifyid.io— where a person signs in, verifies, and manages their connected applications.Developer consolehttps://console.staging.unifyid.io— where you create and manage applications. This sitehttps://developers.staging.unifyid.io— the documentation and the@vn.unifyid/connectcomponent asset.
Sandbox and production are records, not hosts
There is one API host per environment. Sandbox and production are properties of the application record — separate client ids, separate secrets — and the same endpoints serve both. A sandbox client id at /v1/oauth/token is a sandbox exchange; nothing about the URL changes. See Environments and credentials.
What this does not do
- This page describes one deployment. A different environment of this site prints different hosts here, because the values come from its build configuration.
- No host on this page is the issuer. The issuer is the
issuerfield of the discovery document, compared character for character against theissof every ID token.
Verified against API commit 234dba22 on 2026-10-18. The routes, scopes, checklist, events and limits on these pages are read from that export, not typed.
