Trust and transparency

Inspect the evidence behind covered records.

UnifyID publishes checkpoint information and signing keys that developers can use to verify supported integrity evidence.

Public checkpoint information is available without signing in.

Illustrative response

  • Verify signatures

Check a published checkpoint against the corresponding public signing key.

  • Check covered records

Use a supported proof bundle to check whether a record matches the checkpoint that covers it.

  • Understand the result

An integrity check can help detect changes to a covered record. It does not prove that every statement in the record is true or describe everything an external application does.

Verification guide

Follow the documented steps to verify a checkpoint signature and supported proof bundle.
